AV Truck Services from Perth Western Australia has won the Western Star Trucks / MAN Automotive Imports Chairmans Award for 2008. It is the third time in four years that AV Truck Services has won the award and is testament to the professional service provided by the management and staff at AV Trucks. At a recent ceremony, Mr Terry Peabody, Executive Chairman of Transpacific Industries Group Ltd and Paul Glavac, MD of Transpacific Commercial Vehicles, presented AV truck Services Dealer Principal, Tony Vinciguerra with the Award. In accepting the Award, Tony acknowledged the hard work and dedication of his dealerships employees. The Chairmans Award recognises excellence in overall dealer performance, with a particular focus on professional customer service. Measurable categories include dealership operations; customer satisfaction levels from survey results; service performance and warranty performance. The award is judged on a points system and also takes into account factors such as dealership presentation, trucks sales performance and parts sales performance. Also presented at the ceremony were awards for The Chairmans Award (Runner-up), Sales Dealer of the Year, Western Star Salesperson of the Year, MAN Salesperson of the Year, Outstanding Sales Achievement Award and 20 Year Service Award.
