WESTERN STAR TRUCKS INCREASES INVESTMENT INENGINEERING RESOURCE

Daimler Trucks North America has announced the creation of a separate engineering division dedicated to its Flagship brand - Western Star Trucks. Headed by new Director of Engineering - Randy DeBortoli, the new Western Star Engineering division will now encompass close to 50 dedicated engineers and engineering systems separate from Daimler's other truck brands, to design and develop new Western Star products and options for global markets including Australia and New Zealand.
